The Washington Hilton Hotel hosted The 2016 Charter Day Dinner a 92 year old tradition honoring the founding of Howard University.

 

Charter Day is Howard's premiere fundraising event and the most important annual activity on the Howard University Calendar.

Our Honorary Member Artis Hampshire-Cowan, Esq.  received "The Capstone Distinguished Service Award" at this special event who recognizes honorees for being exemplars in their respective areas of expertise. 

 

The proceeds from the Charter Day Dinner support the "Bridging the Gap Student Aid Campaign" and its efforts to directly address the gaps that exist in financial aid for many of Howard's students.
